Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a client with identifying a Sr. Wealth Advisor for a direct hire role in the Kansas City, MO area with a growing boutique wealth management firm, specializing in providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth strategies to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. Their mission is to deliver personalized solutions that encompass estate planning, tax strategies, insurance, and charitable considerations, ensuring our clients achieve their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, client relationship management, and leadership within the wealth management industry. This role requires a deep understanding of high-net-worth clients' needs and the ability to craft custom solutions by leveraging our network of partners.

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the Primary Advisor and trusted resource for a select group of high-net-worth clients
Understand Clients goals and deliver comprehensive financial planning and wealth strategies spanning investment, estate, tax, business, insurance and charitable considerations customized to meet their needs.
Integrate seamlessly with Operations and Client Delivery Teams to ensure consistent delivery of client solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing an outlet for regular check points and client feedback. Make real-time adjustments to plans and portfolios in accordance with market dynamics and evolving needs.


Client Acquisition and New Business Growth

Build and maintain Client Center of Influence (COI) relationships (with Tax, Estate, Insurance, Mortgage, etc.).
Proactively represent Buttonwood Financial Group within the community at networking events, speaking engagements, strategic marketing initiatives and philanthropic engagements.
Actively source and acquire new clients through a variety of sources including referrals, networking activities, strategic partnerships and COIs consistently achieving goal to target ratios.
Strategically partner with internal marketing to understand lead referrals and effectively close and capture business for the firm.
Strategically grow the revenue with current clients through new Assets Under Management and new services offered and sold to the Client.



Team Leadership and Strategic Input

Support and mentor Wealth Management Specialists on client and business strategies.
Understand and help drive adoption with junior team members with respect to industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices for financial planning and investment management.
Attend educational and industry events Tax, Estate, Insurance, webinars and forums and actively lead follow up sessions with the Advisory and WMS Teams to knowledge share.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum of 5 years' experience as a financial advisor, focusing on high-net-worth clients ($5 million or more in assets
· At least 10 years' experience in the wealth management industry
· Strong focus on business development and client acquisition
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required.
Bachelors degree required, advanced degree or MBA preferred.
