Configuration Management Analyst

An employer is looking to add a Configuration Management Analyst to their team in St. Louis, MO. This person will be responsible for change and configuration management and process improvements. They are working to cross train both teams, to ensure that everyone is comfortable doing both configuration management and change management. This person will be responding to change requests daily and troubleshooting issues related to change/configuration requests. They will collaborate with business and IT associates to ensure that all of the required information is listed on the change request. This team receives requests from other internal teams who need assistance with scheduling changes, dashboards, pulling certain reports, and auditing access levels. They will spend time training with the team lead and members of both teams, to ensure that they are comfortable with all requests.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Change management/configuration management experience is highly preferred (understanding of how and why they are making the changes) adds, moves, changes for applications or equipment. If the candidate does not have change/config experience, QA/DA skills would be helpful.

Experience analyzing processes and adherence to processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Project Management/Project Coordination experience

Experience working with Cherwell or ServiceNow, both ticketing and reporting functions

Experience making changes within CMDB (change management database)
