Insight Global is looking to add a Remote Tenable Engineer to our client's in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will be joining a team of 9 other engineers. They will be "the go-to person" for the most complex assignments in Cyber Security. This position is responsible for complex configuration, documentation, and maintenance of some or all of an organization's information security architecture. This may include the installation and configuration of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and vulnerability scanning systems. The position also ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized. The position manages encryption protocols to protect the organization's data as well as management of authentication and access controls. They will also responsible for developing Tenable Audit files to correctly assess for agreed secure baseline standards such as Windows Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, Network Devices, Firewalls, endpoints and applications. This person will also be responsible for collecting and aggregating information from a wide variety of vulnerability sources and formatting them for relevance to the environment for reporting. As a senior engineer it is expected to provide 3rd level support for issues escalated from more junior engineers on installed technical solutions as well as execute responsibilities assigned for vulnerability scanning. They will also maintain an ongoing development of current threat intelligence and vulnerability analysis. They will be primarily working in Tenable Tenable.IO, Tenable.SC vulnerability and compliance scanning programs.
