A client of Insight Global is looking for a Tool Engineer to join their production team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will be collaborating with various engineers and team members to analyze, design, and modify the tools used for production. They will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, preventative maintenance, developing and designing new tooling concepts, and safety compliance. Using 3D modeling, this individual will continuously modify the tooling equipment that holds the aircraft in place to ensure production requirements are being met. The Tool Engineer will work 1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm) onsite 5 days a week.

Bachelors Degree in a STEM field (Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience 3D CAD modeling
Proficient with GD&T
Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in St. Louis, MO (1st shift; 8:00am-5:00pm)
Prior experience designing tools for assembly in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Previous use of 3D modeling software including Solid Edge, SolidWorks, CATIA V5, NX
Active Secret clearance
