Insight Global is looking for a Regulatory Analyst to join their clients growing team in the utility space. The right person will come from an educational background related to economics, accounting, finance, data analytics or something similar and should be very comfortable analyzing and presenting data. This person will be responsible for making rate cases for the utility companies cost justification and presenting to both external regulatory partners as well as internal business stakeholders. Along with possessing strong excel and data extraction skills, this person should be a progressive thinker and desire upward mobility in their role
Anywhere from 1-4 years experience in a related field
Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Bachelors degree in economics, accounting, finance, data analytics or something similar
Good communication skills/soft skills as well as technical skills
Proven experience extracting data from large data sets and analyzing and presenting to business stakeholders
Ability to leverage data analytics tools to to draw conclusions (power BI, tableau, etc)
Utility experience preferred - Retail cost of service, rate design, and state regulation
SQL, PowerBI, Tableau experience for extracting and digesting data sets
