Insight Global is seeking an onsite Office Manager (non-clinical) for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist in Lees Summit, Missouri. Will be responsible for managing all non-clinical/business aspects of the practice including scheduling appointments; submitting, processing, and disputing insurance claims; tracking and reporting monthly financials; monitoring important office emails; answering front desk receptionist escalations via phone; and documenting/updating practice and clinical processes and procedures.
Other responsibilities Include:
* Serve as liaison between doctors/providers and staff regarding work assignments and clinical priorities
* Conduct audits of patient schedules; quality of data entry and patient information; consistency of patient consultations and financial presentations; internal referral process; and supply orders and utilization
* Train and manage other full-time employees (3 direct reports)
* Perform team member development including but not limited to training, continuous coaching conversations, performance documentation, and disciplinary action as needed
* Utilize computer systems to process bills and insurance forms.
* Maintain office reports
* Establishing and maintaining internal office protocols
* Supervising accounts receivable
-2+ year of experience as an Office Admin/Supervisor for a healthcare provider
-Previous hands-on experience with insurance and billing
-Experience dealing with insurance claims for dental, oral surgeons, or medical offices (preauthorization's, appeals, treatment plans, etc.)
-Experience negotiating insurance contracts
-Experience managing and training front office employees and colleagues
-Strong understanding of HIPPA standards and procedures
-Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service/phone skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
