Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking to add a CRA Analyst II to its growing team in the Kansas City, MO area! The CRA Analyst II assists the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer in administering the Bank's CRA Program by performing detailed data integrity reviews of commercial and consumer loan data, compiling reports and dashboards to monitor and communicate results, maintaining related electronic and written records, and assisting in the annual loan data submissions, when applicable. The CRA Analyst II will assist the CRA Officer in updating the CRA Public Files; maintaining logs and documentation for community development investments, services, and loans with basic analysis of loan data. Other duties include:



- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of applicable CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending regulatory precedents, updates and trends.

- Ensures timely and accurate collecting, reporting of data and robust analysis of CRA performance.

- Imports loan data into the CRA Wiz, geocode each record and resolve syntax and validity errors.

- Tracks and reports community development investments (including eligible donations) in conjunction with the Bank's Finance team.

- Tracks and reports community development volunteer services.

- Tests the accuracy of consumer and small business/farm loan data through a sampling process, referring to original loan documents scanned into Director for data verification.

- Submits HMDA and CRA loans using the CRA Wiz for applicable banks by March 1 each year.

- Works with business units to identify and resolve data integrity issues.

- Reviews and updates the bank's CRA public files, as needed, by April 1 each year.

- Advises in the updating of applicable policies and procedures related to regulatory change in the areas of HMDA and CRA.

- Surveys branch personnel for CRA related information.

- Utilizes compliance software programs to produce regular HMDA and CRA data reporting and dashboards for management as scheduled or upon request.

- Creates charts and graphs of analysis results for CRA self-assessments.

- Assists with CRA/HMDA data-related training for Bank employees.

- Assists with CRA examination preparation and support

- All other duties/special projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

- Associates Degree and/or at least 3 years of banking experience (includes 1 year of recent specialized experience in HMDA and/or CRA).

- Ability to read, understand, and interpret government regulations.

- Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize work.

- Capable of following limited, conceptual instruction and possess problem solving skills and techniques.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information, and drawing logical conclusions.

- Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.

- Ability to research issues and use the information to resolve problems.

- Proficiency in any of the related banking softwares (FIS, Navigator, Salesforce/nCino, Baker Hill, CRA Wiz, etc.)

- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a quantitative field.

- Certification -- CRCM or other related certification.

- Experience with compliance software programs such as CRA Wiz is highly desirable.

- 3 years of professional experience in oral and written communications including making presentations and preparing analytical reports.

- 3 years of recent, demonstrated ability in related CRA, HMDA, Fair Lending, or data analysis role.
