Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Project Manager to join our client's team in the St. Louis, MO area. This person will be supporting our client's Contact Center , Loan Service Processing, Federal Contracts, Accounting, and Compliance/Audit teams and initiatives. They will be on site 3-4 days a week, 1-2 days remote. Our client is currently heading up a major migration from a homegrown legacy database to another legacy system. This individual will work directly with the department Director, Senior Managers, Managers, Supervisors, and selected staff. This individual will work with the department managers and staff to develop Department Project Plans for migrating operational functions and activities and converting financial accounts to a new technology (loan system) platform. The Business Project Manager will be responsible for creating the process for developing project plans. This will include the ability to explain and identify project phases, activities, tasks, task duration, dependencies between phases, activities and tasks, estimate effort (hours) to complete tasks, and how to estimate and plan project resources. They will also be responsible for writing and maintaining the Department Project Plan (outline) in excel and capturing assumptions, questions, problems, and requirements that need to each be recognized, resolved, and communicated. They will coordinate with the M.S. Project technical resource to send/receive Department Plan detailed outline documents that can be imported into the M.S. Project tool.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of project management experience in the financial services, logistics, or banking industry

Experience overseeing the operations and processes within financial industries

Experience creating and implementing project plans

Extensive experience with MS Office and Excel

Extensive experience holding high level conversations with executive level stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with MS Project

Experience overseeing operational migrations
