This candidate will create splice drawings based on red-lined design Method of Procedures (MOPs) for a Fiber Optic (internet) build out for the State of Mississippi. They will be completing redlines to existing drawings within Excel Draw. They are also responsible for the management of drawings and updating the status of drawing redlines within the companies proprietary tool. They will also be submitting requests for geographic location codes, route codes, project codes including but not limited to; provide exact address, backbone information, route location, school district, County, and City for location and/or routes. This role is heavily data entry so needing someone proficient in Word and able to input orders as well as taking pre-designed drawings and editing the areas that need fixing
**MUST be able to take an assessment within Microsoft Excel on a splice drawing and data entry during virtual interview. A mouse is required to perform this interview assessment.
Experience working remote and training over a video platform (they use MS Teams)
2 years' experience with redline edits to drawings in the Telecommunications, Outside Plant Engineering (OSP), or related industry (i.e. utilities/GIS).
Experience with GIS Google Earth or Google Earth Pro. (This is how they our client views the land location of the future fiber cable location).
Proficient working in Microsoft Excel (not creating formulas, but able to read a chart, expand columns, enter data etc.).
Data Entry Experience.
Able to read and understand standard construction drawings, be able to identify HH, splice points and call outs on the construction drawing.
Netcracker Experience.
KMZ drawing experience.
GIS software technology experience (ArcGIS)
Experience creating splice drawings in Microsoft Excel.
