Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow our State, Local and Education—or SLED—business throughout Oklahoma. This position will focus primarily on K-12 school districts, higher education institutions and state government agencies.
The ideal candidate is a proven technology sales professional with strong relationships across the Oklahoma SLED market and a history of consistently developing new accounts, building executive-level relationships and closing complex IT solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated success selling IT solutions, hardware, software or professional services.
• Established relationships within Oklahoma K-12, higher education or state government.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with public-sector procurement, contracts or E-rate is highly preferred.
• Technical or engineering background is preferred but not required.
• Must reside in or near Oklahoma City or Tulsa and be willing to travel throughout Oklahoma.
