Job Description
Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems at ADS
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system layouts
Pull, label, and terminate fire alarm cabling in conduit or open pathways
Support senior techs with panel programming, SLC/device mapping, and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols at all times
Assist in staging materials, tools, and devices at job sites

Required Skills & Experience
2.5 years+ of experience in electrical, low-voltage, or cabling work
High school diploma or GED; vocational school or military training is a plus
Interest in life safety, fire alarm systems, and learning Notifier systems
Physically able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs., work in ceilings, and access confined spaces
Good communication skills, team attitude, and reliable transportation
Must pass a background check for work on military/government job sites
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with Notifier ONYX series fire alarm panels
Entry-level knowledge of NFPA 72
Experience using multimeters, cable testers, or hand tools
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Valid state alarm technician license (if applicable)
