Job Description

• Focus on delivering measurable outcomes that align with C Spire’s strategic goals, with a strong emphasis on meeting or exceeding project targets.
• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure all deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and add value to the organization’s overall success.
• Build realistic schedules; maintain tasks and dependencies in ServiceNow SPM.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals.
• Maintain backlog and manage change requests.
• Evaluate use of resources and adjust assignments accordingly
• Maintain RAID log in ServiceNow SPM; escalates blocking issues in a timely manner
• Run effective stand-ups/status meetings; document decisions and actions.
• Provide clear updates; prepare demos and release notes.
• Understand & apply appropriate project delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
• Identify dependencies
• Coordinate UAT and cutover checklists; tracks defects to closure.
• Partner with change leads; manage communications and training schedules.
• Allocate resources effectively to support project needs, monitoring and managing project budgets.
• Identify potential risks and issues early, developing and implementing mitigation plans.
• Develop, manage, and execute project plans in ServiceNow SPM ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget, timelines, and add expected value.
• Ensure projects are managed in compliance with PMO guidelines while remaining flexible.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, and share lessons learned with the PMCoE.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and executive sponsors, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
• Allocate resources effectively, monitor budgets, and identify risks early with mitigation plans.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2-4 years project management experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery; willing to learn and apply methods.
• PMP or CAPM certification is preferred (or progress toward certification).
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to drive projects to completion.
• Experience presenting to executives and facilitating key decisions.
• Strong project planning and organizational skill a must.
• Proficiency in project management frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
• Strong analytical skills for identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills a must.
• ServiceNow SPM or project management software a plus.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in fast-paced environment.
