· Supervise and provide technical guidance to the finance and accounting staff, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other deliverables for review with executive management
· Prepare annual budget and interim reforecasts, and periodically analyze variances from actual results
· Monitor overall accounting systems, procedures and internal controls
· Prepare or oversee preparation of client assistance for the annual financial statement audit and tax returns, as well as internal audit and periodic project audits
· Analyze, identify, interpret and evaluate financial, accounting, cost and trend reports
· Develop and maintain cost accounting system to provide accurate and timely information to executive management and customers
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred
· 8+ years of construction industry experience in a senior accounting position or similar experience in public accounting
· Budget forecasting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting
· Public company experience including transaction support, SEC filings, corporate governance and SOX 404 compliance
· Capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of management within the company and other organizations/companies
· Influential and experienced leader skilled in completing projects, prioritization, delegation, and driving completion of initiatives
· JD Edwards experience preferred
