Job Description

A large biometrics and augmented identity company is looking to hire a remote QA Analyst to join their Digital Identity team. This position requires proof of US Citizenship and no dual citizenship. Responsibilities include:

Possess an innate quality assurance mindset with a breadth of analytical thinking skills and highly attentive to detail.

Creates and maintains test cases and able to adhere to process and protocol.

Conduct testing using mobile devices and/or web applications to simulate end user interactions and workflows.

Has a fundamental understanding of software and release methodologies (SDLC).

Ability to grasp complex and challenging domain knowledge and test case scenarios.

Communicates quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the team members.

Ensures that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.

Be embedded as an integral part of the promotion of software in a release pipeline.

Spot areas for improvement to identify deficiencies and enhance efficiencies.

Research the current market for similar products and compare results.

Works to minimize risk by identifying, communicating and escalating issues appropriately to their Manager and project teams

Performs post implementation testing, smoke testing, patch testing, and supports as needed to help stabilize the application

Possess ability to think outside the box in a creative manner to identify edge case scenarios

Collaborate with specific SMEs from various teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Function as an QA team member in an agile environment, which includes but not limited to: story writing workshops, backlog refinement,

planning, standups, all maintained through Jira.

Investigate and breakdown technical issues, thoroughly, and support in troubleshooting, identifying, and addressing root causes.

Documents on a consistent basis for knowledge sharing and redundancy as a part of the definition of done.

Engage with key stakeholders, internal and external to help foster and strengthen working relationships.

Work with cross functional teams within the internal teams in North America and Europe.

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to pass a federal background check and drug test.

Proof of US Citizenship (valid US passport or US birth certificate)

Bachelors in Computer Science / related field or equivalent work experience in quality assurance.

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

3+ years of experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineer.

Working experience or familiarity with Atlassian tools such as: Jira and Confluence.

Working experience or familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools such as: Word, Excel, Project.

Experience with testing mobile app devices both iOS and Android
