Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a motivated Internal IT Auditor to join a Benefit Services company local to the Minneapolis area. This is a direct placement and will be reporting to the Vice President over Legal & Risk Management. This role will be responsible for examining and analyzing information systems operations to identify opportunities for improvement and assess risks.



Other responsibilities will include planning and conducting audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing audit criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence. You will also be responsible for evaluating policies and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls surrounding information systems are maintained. As the Internal IT Auditor, you will develop strategies and provide recommendations on strengthening controls, mitigating risk, and implementing corrective actions. Document and report audit findings to management. May assist with financial and operational audits and ensure compliance with existing regulations as they relate to information systems. Recommend improvements in policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assist outside auditors with audits of organization's operations.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

- 3-5 years of internal audit experience

- Understanding of the IIA Standards and Code of Ethics

- Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles and preferred business practices.

- Understanding of control environments

- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Working experience with SAP
