An employer is looking for an entry level Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying purchase orders, and reconciling vendor statements. This is a hybrid role that requires on-site work in St. Louis Park, MN a few days a week.
Responsibilities:
-Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
-Verify purchase orders to ensure accurate billing
-Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are paid
-Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies
-Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments
-Assist with month-end close activities as needed
-Perform other duties as assigned
-High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting preferred
-1+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
