Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a full-time Senior Build Engineer to support a large healthcare organization. This individual will serve as the primary owner of build and deployment processes across the enterprise and will play a key role in modernizing the organization's CI/CD infrastructure.
This is a highly technical, hands-on individual contributor role reporting directly to engineering leadership. The Senior Build Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting deployments across multiple platforms while partnering with several engineering teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Build Engineering, Release Engineering, or CI/CD-focused DevOps work and will be comfortable owning the full deployment lifecycle. This person will manage and support deployment processes across Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and other enterprise platforms while helping establish best practices that improve reliability, scalability, security, and deployment speed across the organization.
A primary focus of this role will be supporting Salesforce and AWS deployment activities, including package creation, multi-environment deployments, deployment troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipeline optimization. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and streamlining Jenkins applications, building and supporting BitBucket pipelines, managing build automation processes, and improving overall deployment efficiency.
Responsibilities include managing production deployments, scheduled releases, and hotfixes, troubleshooting deployment failures, optimizing build and release processes, implementing deployment best practices, documenting system changes and deployment procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for build and deployment-related questions.
This individual will work closely with 5-6 engineering teams and help drive deployment modernization efforts that accelerate software delivery and provide value across the business. The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for ownership and continuous improvement.
This position is expected to work primarily Eastern Time Zone business hours and collaborate closely with teams operating on an EST schedule.
Compensation:
$130,000 - $140,000 base salary
Exact compensation may vary based on factors including location, skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additional paid time off and leave benefits are provided in accordance with applicable laws.

Required Skills & Experience
-6-7+ years of Build Engineering, Release Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or related experience
-Strong experience supporting Salesforce deployments, including deployments across environments/orgs and deployment troubleshooting

-Experience building and optimizing BitBucket pipelines
Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting deployment pipelines
-Experience with Git, GitHub, and BitBucket repositories and branching strategies
-Experience with build automation, deployment automation, and release management
-Experience executing production deployments, releases, hotfixes, and deployment troubleshooting
-Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
-Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

-Experience with WSO2 platform and integration technologies
-Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
-Experience supporting Salesforce DevOps processes and deployment automation tools

-Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
-Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar technologies
-Experience building CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud platforms
-Experience managing or supporting complex enterprise release processes
-Experience modernizing legacy deployment systems and release workflows
-Experience implementing security controls and best practices within CI/CD pipelines
-Experience configuring development environments and tooling, including VS Code
-Experience supporting multi-environment deployment strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)
-Experience working within healthcare, highly regulated, or compliance-driven environments
-Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Jenkins, Kubernetes, or related technologies
