Job Description
The Escrow Assistant supports the Commercial Closing Team in managing and executing commercial real estate transactions. This role assists closers with file setup, documentation, communication, and transaction coordination. Responsibilities include scanning and organizing documents, preparing orders, requesting letters, collecting required materials, and maintaining accurate records within SoftPro. The Escrow Assistant works closely with a team of closers and provides general support across all stages of the closing process.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ years title industry experience
• Commercial transaction exposure — Some commercial experience preferred, residential experience acceptable with strong interest in commercial.
• Bachelor’s degree — Required for recent graduates encouraged.
• SoftPro proficiency
• Document handling accuracy — Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication — Clear written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Comfort with numbers — Ability to assist with statements, balancing, and spreadsheet work.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Commercial closing experience — Prior work as a Commercial Closing Assistant, Escrow Officer, or Title Coordinator.
• Advanced Excel skills — Experience with formulas, financial data, and spreadsheet management.
• Paralegal background — Recent paralegal graduates or candidates with legal training.
• Client service mindset — Comfortable interacting with clients and supporting closers.
