We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Signal Processing Firmware Engineer to join a global R&D organization. This individual will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and optimization of embedded firmware for next-generation hearing aid technologies. The engineer will work closely with Algorithm Research, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Verification teams to transform advanced signal processing and machine learning concepts into commercial products.
This position requires deep expertise in embedded firmware development, digital signal processing (DSP), real-time systems, and cross-functional technical leadership. The ideal candidate has experience implementing complex audio processing algorithms on resource-constrained embedded devices and thrives in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with emphasis in Signal Processing and Embedded Systems.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years with an MSEE, or 4+ years with a PhD.
• Deep expertise in embedded firmware architecture and development.
• Strong knowledge of digital signal processing concepts, real-time systems, and optimization techniques.
• Experience implementing DSP algorithms on embedded processors such as ARM, TI DSPs, or FPGA-based systems.
• Strong experience with RTOS environments and low-level hardware/software integration.
• Experience leading complex debugging, root cause analysis, and system integration efforts.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including architecture ownership, mentoring, and driving technical decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a global engineering organization.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Hearing aid, audio processing, wearable technology, medical device, or consumer electronics experience.
• Experience with audio signal processing algorithms including: Noise Reduction, Feedback Cancellation, Beamforming, Dynamic Range Compression, Speech Enhancement
• Experience supporting wireless audio streaming technologies.
• Understanding of sensor signal processing and sensor fusion techniques.
• Experience collaborating closely with algorithm development and research teams.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or related engineering tools.
• Experience with firmware verification frameworks, automated testing methodologies, and quality-focused development practices.
• Strong understanding of wireless and wired communication protocols
