Job Summary:
We are seeking a Staff ASIC Design Engineer to support the development of ASIC and FPGA solutions for complex, next-generation products. This role will focus on RTL development across ASIC and FPGA environments, working closely with experienced digital design engineers and cross-functional teams including verification, analog, physical design, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with architects to understand functional requirements for digital design blocks
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Define, document, and design digital/analog interfaces
• Develop detailed implementation plans and technical specifications for complex design blocks
• Write RTL code using industry-standard hardware description languages
• Develop lower-level testbench code to validate baseline functionality
• Create test plans and partner with verification teams to ensure full design validation
• Perform synthesis using industry-standard tools and analyze results
• Optimize designs to meet power, performance, and area (PPA) targets
• Support post-silicon lab validation efforts
• Provide ongoing support of design blocks through productization and production
• Drive process improvements and automation using scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL)
• Mentor and support the development of junior digital design engineers

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Relevant experience operating at a Staff ASIC Design Engineer level
• Experience with RTL development and common scripting languages
• Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Technical leadership or mentorship experience
• Defense and Aerospace experience is a plus
