Job Summary:
We are seeking a Principal ASIC Design Engineer to lead the development of ASIC and FPGA solutions for complex, next-generation products. This role is responsible for planning, architecting, and developing digital systems across both ASIC and FPGA environments, while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead collaboration with architects to define functional requirements for digital systems, subsystems, and design blocks
• Partner with systems, analog, and architecture teams to define and document digital/analog interactions
• Develop detailed implementation plans and technical specifications for complex designs
• Design and develop RTL code using industry-standard hardware description languages
• Create test plans and partner with verification teams to ensure full system validation
• Perform synthesis using standard tools and analyze design outcomes
• Optimize designs to meet power, performance, and area (PPA) targets
• Lead post-silicon validation efforts at the system and subsystem level
• Support designs through productization and production within larger system environments
• Drive process improvements and automation through scripting (Python, Perl, TCL)
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Proven experience operating at a Principal ASIC Design Engineer & Technical leadership level
• Strong experience with synthesis, linting, and clock domain crossing tools
• Expertise in RTL development and scripting languages • Background in embedded digital systems and subsystem design
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership ability

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Defense and Aerospace experience is a plus
