Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator to support a large-scale, enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer looking to grow into an architect-level position, combining deep technical expertise with strategic platform ownership.

The Microsoft 365 environment is well-established, and this position will focus on optimization, governance, and continuous enhancement rather than greenfield implementation. A significant driver of this role is ongoing M&A activity, requiring a resource who can represent the platform, guide integration strategy, and ensure consistency across newly onboarded environments. This is a high-impact, low-operational support role. Escalations are limited, and the focus is on delivering value through strategic improvements, automation, and forward-looking platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform
• Lead and support M&A integration planning and execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
• Drive platform optimization, governance, and licensing strategy across the M365 environment
• Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex issues, with minimal involvement in day-to-day ticketing
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Contribute to platform roadmap development and future-state planning, including adoption of emerging Microsoft capabilities
• Provide guidance and direction to support teams, including distributed or offshore resources
• Ensure overall health, performance, and reliability of the M365 platform

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

• Broad expertise across the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform
• Experience owning and optimizing enterprise-scale M365 environments, including governance and licensing strategy
• Proven experience supporting M&A integrations, tenant consolidations, or large-scale platform migrations
• Strong automation experience using PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar tools
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to platform roadmap planning
• Experience operating as a senior escalation point (Tier 3) for complex issues

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience leading M365 strategy within mergers and acquisitions environments
• Exposure to Copilot, AI, or modern workplace transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting hybrid or global M365 environments
• Familiarity with Azure services or DevOps delivery models
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and security best practices within M365
