Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Right‑of‑Way and Real Estate Agent to support major utility transmission line projects for a top infrastructure client. This individual will work directly with landowners across Western Minnesota to discuss rights of entry and permanent easements, present and explain offers, negotiate terms, and secure easement agreements for survey and transmission work. Responsibilities include drafting offers, acquisition paperwork, and documentation based on client needs, maintaining clear reporting throughout the acquisition process, and coordinating closely with project management and internal teams to ensure alignment. The role requires a confident negotiator with prior ROW experience who can balance both field and office responsibilities, navigate regulatory requirements, and represent the client professionally. Travel to project areas in Western Minnesota is required, including occasional week‑long trips that are fully expensed. This is a high‑visibility opportunity with strong extension and long‑term potential on large‑scale utility projects. We can pay between $70 - $80 per hour.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate, right-of-way (ROW), title, utility coordination, relocation, or property management
• Active Minnesota real estate license
• Prior ROW experience on utility transmission line projects
• Experience negotiating easements and land acquisitions
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and industry regulations (Uniform Relocation Act, NEPA, FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC)
• Ability to balance office and field work in deadline-driven environments
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Western MN (week-long travel at times)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience acquiring easements for large utility or energy clients
• Background drafting paperwork, offers, and acquisition documents
• Prior experience with survey access and rights-of-entry agreements
• Familiarity with transmission line or large-scale infrastructure projects
