Job Description
This role will provide interim leadership support for the Minnesota Gas Warehouse & Logistics team while the current manager is out on maternity leave. The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee all MN gas materials, warehousing, and logistics operations, supporting two very busy supervisors and ensuring continuity across daily operations and ongoing strategic initiatives. Client operates a large industrial warehouse and office facility in Golden Valley, MN. This warehouse is purpose built to support natural gas operations, materials management, field service logistics, and region wide operational efficiency. This position requires a strong warehouse & logistics experience as well materials management leader with deep utility and natural gas experience who can step in quickly, support direct reports, and maintain operational excellence.
Operational Leadership
• Lead and manage all gas warehouse & logistics operations for the MN region.
• Provide day to day direction and support to warehouse/logistics supervisors.
• Ensure efficient operation of MN’s unique Home Services Plus materials handling (appliance delivery, repairs, etc.).
Project & Systems Management
• Oversee MN’s involvement in a major warehouse barcoding rollout, including pilot implementation.
• Manage activities related to warehouse management systems (WMS), barcoding, scanning, and SAP-driven workflows.
• Ensure accurate materials tracking, inventory practices, and compliance with standards.
People Leadership
• Manage supervisors and indirect reports; offer guidance, coaching, and operational oversight.
• Maintain high performance, engagement, and safety culture within the team.
• Serve as point of contact and decision-maker for daily escalations, issues, and workflow prioritization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with TX Gas, Indiana, and Ohio Gas operations teams for alignment and support.
• Coordinate with logistics, materials management, procurement, and field operations groups.

Required Skills & Experience
• Utility industry experience, ideally natural gas.
• Strong background in materials management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Prior management experience, including direct supervision of supervisors and frontline teams.
• Hands on experience with:
o SAP (materials management, warehousing, logistics modules)
o Warehouse management systems (WMS)
o Barcoding/scanning technologies
• Experience managing large-scale system rollouts or process-improvement initiatives.
• Effective, motivational people leader with strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in both warehouse logistics AND materials management (combined skillset strongly preferred).
• Prior experience supporting appliance delivery/repair operations or similar unique material flows.
