Lead Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to serve as a highly seasoned, influential, business‑first partner supporting enterprise initiatives within a Data Architecture and Enterprise Data organization. This role is focused on driving outcomes, shaping direction, and influencing decision‑makers, not producing written reports or passively capturing requirements.

The Lead Business Analyst will operate as a trusted right‑hand partner to senior business and data leadership, working directly with VP‑level stakeholders, Data Architects, and MDM leaders to define priorities, challenge assumptions, and ensure data initiatives deliver meaningful business value. This role requires strong presence, confidence, and the ability to proactively step into ambiguity, engage stakeholders, and move work forward.

While this role does not require hands‑on technical execution, the Lead Business Analyst must understand how modern data platforms and architecture (e.g., cloud data platforms, streaming, enterprise data management) support business outcomes and be able to translate business needs into effective data‑driven conversations.

This position is ideal for a senior Lead BA with an enterprise mindset who understands the difference between taking orders and influencing direction, can balance vision with implementation realities, and aspires toward broader Business Architecture and domain‑driven leadership.

Salary Range: $115,000–$120,000

-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large, complex enterprise environments
-Proven ability to influence senior and VP‑level stakeholders and operate confidently alongside executive leadership
-Strong business advocacy skills with a track record of shaping priorities and driving outcomes
-Experience owning business needs end‑to‑end and influencing solution direction—not just documenting requirements
-Ability to translate business strategy into action while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
-Demonstrated critical thinking with the ability to balance visionary thinking and practical implementation
-Comfort operating across multiple initiatives and domains without tunnel vision
-Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills; minimal reliance on written reports
-Experience partnering closely with Data Architects, MDM leaders, and platform teams, with an understanding of where data tools fit (no hands‑on execution required)
-Track record of driving momentum and “getting it done” in fast‑paced environments

-Exposure to Business Architecture concepts, including domain‑driven or capability‑driven analysis
-Experience supporting enterprise‑wide, multi‑domain initiatives rather than isolated projects
-Background working in highly matrixed organizations with senior, decisive stakeholders
-Ability to assess when different methods and approaches are most effective—and where they are not
