Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Installer to support blueprint‑driven electrical assembly and panel building operations. This position involves reading and working from detailed prints, running and landing wires, and assembling electrical components to meet quality and production expectations. This position will work hands‑on in a collaborative manufacturing environment with exposure to both electrical assembly and testing functions.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installation on panels and assemblies using established work procedures.
- Run and land wires based on blueprint instructions.
- Assemble electrical components and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Reference and follow detailed blueprints and schematics throughout the build process.
- Support occasional sheet metal tasks such as drilling or tapping holes.
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy; rework when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with department leads in both the Test and Electrical Assembly groups.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ hands‑on experience in electrical installation, assembly, or panel‑related work
- Strong ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints
- Experience running and landing wires according to specifications
- Experience with basic tools: drills, hand tools, small power tools, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Panel building experience
- Background in small electronics, designing/wiring simple circuits, or electrical component manufacturing.
- Exposure to sheet metal assembly (drilling, tapping, running holes)
- High‑school tech program, vocational training, or hands‑on shop experience.
- Any experience connecting cable ends, electrical testing, or production wiring.
