Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer and a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for designing, modeling, developing, and testing electrical systems and components while applying established engineering principles to meet functional and operational requirements. You will create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs, integrate components into complete systems, and assess overall performance in terms of cost, reliability, safety, and effectiveness. Your role includes monitoring product quality, optimizing process efficiency, and investigating root‑cause failures to recommend improvements. In addition to core engineering duties, you support day‑to‑day maintenance and corrective work at substations by leading like‑for‑like equipment replacements and upgrades—such as breakers, switches, transformers, relays, bushings, and arresters—while performing troubleshooting, initiating projects, ordering materials, and adapting designs within existing brownfield conditions. You coordinate closely with construction crews to execute work, manage schedules, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders across construction and substation maintenance teams. Key deliverables include scoped work packages, material requisitions, field coordination, and successful completion of replacement and maintenance activities.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.
