Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead front-end development for multiple capital projects. These projects involve planning, scoping, and coordinating engineering efforts for battery recycling and smelting operations. The Project Manager will play a critical role in defining project needs, managing budgets, and overseeing engineering contractors through execution. This individual will be working in the lead plant, refinement process of the lead, melting the lead in a furnace, skims off impurities, to make it safe to recycle
• Review project charter documents and collaborate with operations to define scope and requirements.
• Conduct field assessments to identify modifications, removals, or replacements needed for project execution.
• Develop budgets and schedules; ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Solicit proposals from engineering firms and manage external contractors.
• Track deliverables, schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between operations and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 10 years involved in projects including at least 5 years as a Project Manager (other 5 can be project involvement)
• Comfortable working in plant environments (chemical-resistant suits, respirator use).
• Clean shaven for respirator compliance.
• Ability to work onsite daily
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Engineering degree (Electrical & Instrumentation or Mechanical)
• Strong front-end project development experience
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and engineering contractors
• Familiarity with smelting processes and heavy industrial projects
• Refinery experience
• Background in engineering design and project development
