Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join a multi-faceted 3PL/Transportation Conglomerate client of ours in Minneapolis, MN. The Senior Network engineer will lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network services>
Responsibilities:
Manage LAN/Multi-Site WAN and virtualization environments using Cisco, Adtran routers, and HPE switches.
Configure and troubleshoot Watchguard & Palo Alto Firewalls, SSL VPNs, and remote office VPN tunnels.
Monitor LAN/WAN performance, troubleshoot application issues, and assist with system administration tasks.
Lead network upgrades, patch management, and vendor communications for hardware and software.
Create and update Visio diagrams, network policies, and security standards following best practices.
Train IT staff on network tools and ensure thorough troubleshooting and configuration documentation
Participate in after-hours rotations and travel occasionally to local and regional sites.
salary/compensation: up to $160k + Health/Dental/Vision/401k Benefits

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Network Engineering experience (Cisco Products)
2+ years of network management and security, local and wide area network infrastructure experience.
Palo Alto Firewall experience
HPE/Aruba Networking experience
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and independent working skills.
Education: Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related IT field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Multi-Site networking experience
CCNP certification
SD-WAN
