Job Description

Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance across building systems.
Maintain and repair heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs, and air distribution systems.
Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, gauges, valves, and thermostats to ensure comfort and efficiency.
Conduct preventive maintenance (filters, coils, belts, bearings, chemical treatment, cooling towers).
Inspect and maintain engine rooms, fan rooms, generators, fire pumps, and emergency systems.
Respond promptly to emergencies and customer concerns.
Document activities and comply with safety standards, codes, and company protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
High school diploma or GED (trade school/apprenticeship preferred).
Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems, and energy management systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot complex systems.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Basic computing skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, stoop, and work in varying conditions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

EPA Universal 608 Certification
ourneyman/Master Electrician or relevant city licenses (e.g., Refrigeration, High Pressure Boiler).
Universal Technician certification for CFCs.
Experience with compliance inspections (NFPA, local codes).
Familiarity with SOX, HIPAA, and safety training standards.
