Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join a team who will leverage analytical and quantitative methods to support sourcing and inventory management. This role focuses on extracting, analyzing, and visualizing supply chain data to identify trends, optimize vendor segmentation, and improve operational efficiency. The analyst will provide actionable insights to category sourcing managers and contribute to data-driven decision-making across the sourcing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyze supply chain data from SAP and other ERP systems
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
- Identify trends, gaps, and bottlenecks in sourcing and inventory processes
- Collaborate with sourcing managers and cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations
- Support vendor segmentation and cost optimization initiatives
- Translate business challenges into analytics projects and lead execution
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management with strong data analytics focus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with sourcing and production planning concepts.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives.
