Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Exchange Administrator to join a dynamic IT team during a major enterprise email migration. This role will focus on transitioning from Exchange 2016 to 2019 and ultimately to Exchange Online, supporting a growing user base of nearly 20,000 accounts.
Important: This role is focused on Exchange Online migrations only—NOT full Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, SharePoint, etc.). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Exchange environments, Active Directory, and PowerShell automation, with a proven ability to manage migrations and troubleshoot complex mail flow issues.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project that will shape the future of our enterprise email infrastructure. This is an amazing remote opportunity working EST hours with a desired salary of $110,000–$130,000, full benefits, matching 401k, PTO, and Holiday PTO.

Required Skills & Experience
-4–7 years of hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions using Microsoft Exchange (2016, 2019) and Exchange Online in large-scale, multi-site environments.
-Strong proficiency in Exchange administration, including:
-Exchange Online migrations from on-prem environments (NOT full Microsoft 365 suite).
-Building and configuring Exchange servers.
-Deep understanding of mail flow, EWS, Autodiscover, and troubleshooting webmail flow issues.
-Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration; Python is a plus.
-Experience with Active Directory administration (users, groups, GPOs) and syncing to Azure AD by OU.
-Familiarity with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Group Policy design.
-Knowledge of migration tools such as BitTitan and archiving platforms like Mimecast.
-Excellent troubleshooting skills for mail delivery and system performance issues.
-Strong communication and customer service skills in enterprise environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Familiarity with Nova4 add-ins.
-Certifications such as MCSE, CCA, Network+, or A+.
-Knowledge of retention policies and compliance best practices.
