Job Description
An employer is looking for a highly skilled Scientist 1 to join one of our largest national life sciences clients on their biopharma team for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you’ll join a lab of 20 people but will likely work closely with 1-2 individuals on a day-to-day basis. In this role you’ll be working in a lab and doing method development and validation work to support biopharmaceutical testing (mRNA vaccines, oligonucleotides, proteins and antibodies). In order to be successful on this team you must have a degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology, and 2-3 years of professional experience. You also must have a solid background with analytical chromatography methods and separation techniques.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in chemistry, microbiology or biology
• 2-3 years of professional lab experience
• Prior experience with analytical chromatography methods
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Method validation and development experience
• GMP experience
