Job Description

Our client, a global distributor of components and accessories for outdoor power equipment, automotive & heavy-duty trucks, and power sports is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. The role will be responsible to analyze and create strategy to optimize their global and domestic supplier relationships. They will work with product management, sales, operations, finance, and other internal stakeholders to develop strategic projects including new product development, product line extensions, and cost reduction. They will travel up to 50% of the time to visit international suppliers to negotiate and visit potential suppliers. They will manage 10k+ SKU's across three categories of engine components valued at 30-50 million. Having the ability analyzing their current supplier list and providing end-to-end sourcing solutions is imperative to be successful in this role. They will present these strategies to the VP and Lead Sourcing Managers. The majority of the supplier list has been subject to tariffs so being able to mitigate tariff risk is an important responsibility. Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree (preference in supply chain or engineering)
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing industrial components, or category management.
- Experience making strategic decisions in vendor selections, negotiations, and consolidations.
- Data Driven decision make
