In this role, you will be part of a department that supports the energy transition platform, primarily focusing on the credit side, which involves providing loans to energy transitioners, such as, solar and wind developers. You will be handling several aspects of new and existing transactions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but will include preparing valuation files and collaborating with commercial teams to ensure all assumptions are signed off. You will engage in internal collaboration with deal teams, commercial teams, along with treasury, and legal departments on new deals. Additionally, you will work with the Compliance team on audits and conduct due diligence sessions with external borrowers, and reach out to them to receive interest payments and handle reporting.

While there are not many standard procedures, you will be involved in month-end processes, supporting the commercial team to ensure controls are in place. You will work within a small team, creating opportunities for great exposure at the associate level. You'll work closely with the manager and another team member within the larger energy transition team as you help support the success of the energy transition transactions, and maintain financial and operational standards.
