Job Description

An employer in the area is seeking a Clinical Admin Coordinator. This is a fully remote position but contractor but be in Southern California area. This is an after hours position, hours are listed below. Day to day responsibilities: Assist with same day anticipated weekend discharges (appts, HH, DME), Repatriate members from non-contracted facilities to in network, ED Diversions (ED to SNF, ED to HLOC), Answering phones from After Hours phone queue, Reply to Emails.

Hours are 5pm-1:30am, 40 hours per week. Coordinator will be working 3 weekends out of the month as well as Holidays (2 Holidays off).

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year in a medical assistant or related role

Familiar with Medical terminology

Basic computer skills, Outlook, Phone Skills, Excel

Must have High School Diploma

Previous remote experience is a plus
