Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with 46 years of experience managing end-to-end hardware and software product development, with a strong emphasis on working closely with contract manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving projects from concept through production, including packaging, labeling, testing, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing handoff.

In this role, you will:

Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver integrated hardware/software products on time and within scope.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and contract manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment across schedules, deliverables, quality, and cost.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines, tracking progress across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality workstreams.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, operations, and external partners.
Run regular team meetings, drive accountability, and follow through on action items to maintain project momentum.
Oversee the close-out of design work, ensuring readiness for transfer to manufacturing, and manage the product through validation and launch phases.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to product development and manufacturing execution.
Support and guide teams through the product development lifecycle, including phase-gate reviews and compliance with internal and external standards.

Required Skills & Experience

-46 years of project management experience, specifically in hardware/software product delivery.
-Strong experience collaborating with contract manufacturers to deliver physical products.
-Familiarity with product lifecycle phases including DFM (Design for Manufacturing), design verification/validation, and production ramp-up.
Proficiency in project management tools ( Jira, MS Project, or similar).
-Exceptional communication and organizational skills; able to balance technical detail with stakeholder-level updates.
-Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and can influence across functions.
-This position is ideal for someone who combines technical fluency, strong executional discipline, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of hardware/software product development in partnership with external manufacturing partners.
