Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Specialist to join a top aerospace company - working at a supplier site located in Minneapolis, MN.

The Quality Specialist will be working in the interests of aerospace company, ensuring casting parts supplied meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing non-conforming materials by submitting and investigating non-conformities, understanding technical specifications, and performing part inspections using various methods such as CMM and visual inspections. The role requires familiarity with quality tools like RCAA (Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action). Additionally, the specialist will conduct audits to identify process improvements for better casting quality, leveraging their knowledge of casting processes and manufacturing experience. They must be comfortable working on the shop floor, building strong relationships and communicating effectively with personnel. The specialist will follow up on open actions from project audits, ensuring actions identified through PFMEA are implemented and tracked.

This role is 5x a week onsite in Minneapolis, MN.

Required Skills & Experience

- Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience OR technical degree with 10+ years of experience
- Experience with non-conforming material management
- Familiarity with quality tools such as RCAA
- PFMEA, DFMEA
- Casting process knowledge
