One of Insight Global's largest Pharmacy Benefit Management clients is seeking to hire an AS400 Change Management specialist. This person is responsible for the hands-on experience in IBMi (AS400) administration and system programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing change and release processes to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software updates. Also includes occasional development/maintenance of custom internal tools developed in AS400. Key responsibilities are as follows:
Perform periodic hands-on Synon model maintenance activities such as model cut/model roll over, large file conversions, conditions, message files, and multiple test environment management.
Conduct after-hours deployment activities/System administration support for adjudication changes and weekend production/test environment releases (mandatory).
Develop and maintain custom built CL, RPG, and Synon code for system administration and impact assessment.
License management, Menu access control, Sockets/Subsystem handling, LPAR security schemas/PowerHA tool.
Handling audit requirements/reporting for system administration.

Proven hands-on experience with IBMi (AS400) systems.
Strong knowledge of change management and release management processes.
Hands-on experience in SYNON (COOL2E) model maintenance is mandatory.
Hands-on AS400 system administration experience is mandatory
Hands-on experience in Implementer (CM Tool) is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in managing PCOMM macros is preferred or willingness to learn and maintain is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in building/maintaining custom impact assessment tools is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in upgrade/installation of SYNON model/Implementer is mandatory.
The ability to develop and maintain custom CL, RPG, and Synon code are mandatory.
Ability to provide out-of-business-hours support (mandatory).
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment.
Experience in RxClaim is a big plus.
Hands-on experience with MIMIX tool is an added plus.
