One of Insight Global's largest Chemical Manufacturing partners is seeking to hire an internationally based UX Design Manager for their Bangalore India facility(hybrid on-site opportunity). This person will be responsible for a multifaceted leadership based role. They will be responsible for individual UX design work as they will be assigned to a product or two to support. They will work with the product team to gather requirements and convert them into conceptual and detailed designs. A UX research aspect will be included in the role but the primary individual focus will be design. The second facet is that there is a team of 4 UI/UX Designers who this person will be managing. They will be providing day to day direction, support, mentorship, and will setup standards and procedures. This person must be a wholistic manager who is passionate about both UX Design and has prior experience managing people. Given that there is no current leadership in place this person will be establishing the order of command. The last responsibility of the role is for this person to help spread the importance of UX amongst the stakeholders in India. This is to help grow the understanding and impact of the work being done by the individuals at the location. A leader who has a collaborative style, professional personality, and excellent communication skills will be a great fit for this role.
