We are looking for a level I Designer for one of our top utility clients. This individual will be creating updates and revises on sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software. They will prepare 2D and 3D models and must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications. Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor. This candidate will be able to read engineering drawing and blueprints. Prepares documentation to support design drawings. Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues. This position pays a max of $47/hr.

2 year degree in electrical or mechanical (or relative experience).
1 year of experience preparing drafting (2D and 3D models) using CAD software.
1 year of experience with data sheets and supplier specifications.
1 year of experience with drafting techniques, engineering drawings and blueprints.
1 year of experience with preparing bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.
