An employer is looking for a highly skilled Construction Project Manager II to join one of our largest national general contractor clients for their team in Tampa, FL. In this role you'll join a growing team and work to manage up to a few projects at a time (depending on how large they are). This team values ground up build experience, and prior experience completing projects within the $1-$30 million range. Any prior experience doing healthcare related builds will help you stand out, but isn't necessary. This team does a variety of construction projects, including healthcare builds, medical centers and schools to name a few. This team goes on site 4 days/week therefore you must be able to commute to their Tampa office in order to be eligible for this role.

-Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management
-6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living and multi-family, data center).
-Prior and recent experience working for a general contractor
-Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $1 - $30 million range.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
-Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
-Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients.
-Able to travel for projects if needed.
-Ability to go on site 4 days/week to their Tampa office
-Prior experience building data centers
