Job Description

Our client is seeking talented mid-level Analog Design Engineers with 3-12 years of experience to join their team. As an Analog Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our domestic ASIC capabilities for commercial, defense, and security customers by delivering innovative microelectronics solutions.

Your work will involve designing analog integrated circuits, mixed-signal circuits, and high-speed designs. You will contribute to the development of analog mixed-signal circuit blocks, including PLLs, DLLs, phase interpolators, high-speed clock distribution circuits, high performance amplifiers and comparators, high-speed DACs and ADCs, and Filters.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog mixed-signal circuit blocks to support IP development and ASIC/ASSP designs
- Participate in system-level and block-level IC design activities, including architecture definition, circuit design, schematic capture, and circuit and sub-system simulation.
- Document analog design blocks and collaborate with Characterization and Product engineers to define, conduct tests, and analyze measurement data.
- Work with advanced CMOS technologies, including experience with FinFet technology.
- Apply low power and high-speed design techniques to circuit design.
- Utilize standard, commercial IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Virtuoso, and Spice.
- Assist in the validation of circuit design through lab skills.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers.

Work Schedule: Flexible 9/80 work schedules with every other Friday off.

Required Skills & Experience

- This position requires a candidate to be able to obtain a US government security clearance
- Circuit design experience in analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuits in deep sub-micron technologies (5 40 nm) for high-speed Memory interfaces and SerDes Interfaces.
- Experience with high-speed I/O cell designs, power delivery circuits, and strong fundamental knowledge in AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and FinFet technologies.
- Understanding of mismatch analysis, Monte-Carlo methodology/sims, transistor-level noise analysis, and device physics in deep sub-micron technologies.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cadence ADE, Spectre, mixed-signal verification, EM/IR flows, MATLAB, and Calibre.
- Working knowledge of mixed-mode simulation, signal integrity, and ESD is desired.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
