Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to join one of our local energy sector clients in the Minneapolis, MN market. This role will play a critical role in the creation and role out of a new response and detection plan surrounding incident response, threat, and vulnerability management. This person will be responsible for conducting discovery exercises to understand where the current client stands on gaps within current models, standardization surrounding response, and overall knowledge and understanding within the application and infrastructure spaces. They will be partnering closely with their senior leader in the group to create and execute this new standard, but are expected to be the technical expert in this initiative.

-5+ years of experience within cybersecurity analysis work, specifically incident response, and threat/vulnerability management
-Experience with creation of process surrounding incident response and threat/vulnerability. Needs to have been at the forefront of creating this plan and seeing it to fruition
-Experience with Splunk and an EDR tool + vulnerability management tool.
-Experience working in one of the following industries: Utility, energy sector, or financial services
-CrowdStrike and Tenable experience
