Insight Global is seeking an Automation Specialist to support a Fortune 500 Medical Device client local to the Twin Cities area. This specialist will be joining the Equipment Engineering team (in conjunction with Manufacturing and R&D) to support equipment engineers as the team develops new automated manufacturing and test equipment, as well as software systems used in the development and production of medical devices. The hourly range for this role is between $35/hr-$47/hr.

· Associate's Degree with a focus on automation OR controls, robotics.
· knowledge of basic electronics and hands-on wiring of electronic systems (from schooling or in the workforce).
- 1+ years of experience in Ladder Logix/Allen-Bradley PLC Programming.
· 1+ years of experience in Logix5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View with a PackML.
· 3+ years' experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience working with VFDs, MCCs - Programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and set-up from scratch.
