Key Responsibilities

* This is an entry level position which requires execution of experiments under supervision, with an opportunity to grow as an independent scientist.

* Maintain mammalian cell lines in culture and isolate primary cells from whole blood and other tissues.

* Perform transfection and infection of cell culture with different viral and non-viral vectors.

* Perform ELISA and cell-based assays.

* Perform basic cloning, plasmid, RNA and gDNA isolation.

* Collaborate with other team members to advance cross-functional scientific projects and standardize adoption of new scientific techniques.

Following an onboarding period, the candidate will perform experimental research under supervision and in close collaboration with the rest of the scientific team.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry or related field.

* Proof of laboratory experience.

* Must have experience with eukaryotic cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.

* Ability to work and learn in an efficient manner.

* Ability to work as part of a team.

* Excellent attention to detail and organization.
