This position will be part for the IT Operational Excellence team and will be a key member of the team responsible for vulnerability remediation patching. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure that the patching process of IT assets is completed and reported on within the expected timeframe. This includes investigating, prioritizing, planning, optimizing, updating, and executing patching activities. This role requires broad technical knowledge of operating systems, platforms, applications/software, and configurations. The candidate must have strong project management, reporting, analytical, and communication experience.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
-Coordinating and organizing patching scheduling and change records
-Reconciling devices that have failed patching each month
-Collecting patching compliance metrics and requirements
-Analyzing, centralizing, and reporting on patching compliance metrics
-Improving and expanding patching processes across all platforms
-Analyzing and reporting on vulnerability metrics
-Creating and updating troubleshooting and patching process documentation
-Creating patching communications for the IT organization
-Supporting OT/Process workstation/server patching
-Automating patching processes and validations
-Implementing and supporting patching processes
-Establishing and improving cloud patching processes
-Provide input and recommendations to risk exception processes
-Evaluate and provide support to urgent/zero-day vulnerability response process
-Serve as a liaison between IT Security and other organizations to communicate required activities and priorities
-Work with vendors, clients and cross-functional teams for patching activities and technologies.

-7+ years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years of experience in Patching Management
-Experience with Windows and Linux platforms (Windows 11, Windows Server 2016+, Redhat Linux 6.X+)
-Heavy experience using patch management tools (SCCM and RedHat Satellite are required, Patch My PC is nice to have)
-Hands on experience with SQL databases and performing SQL queries
-PowerShell scripting experience
-Experience with Ansible, Python, & YAML
-Experience with incident and change management processes (ServiceNow experience is required)
-Experience with leadership responsibilities and able to communicate with upper management and vendors
-Experience with vulnerability discovery solutions (Qualys is preferred, otherwise Tenable or Rapid7)
-Cloud experience and certifications (AWS preferred, current environment is 80% AWS, 20% Azure)
-Experience with PowerBI for reporting
-Active Directory and Identity Management experience
