Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. SharePoint consultant to join of our top Utility clients in the Nation. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join the Technology Services division as they are going to kick off a program replacing their current billing system and they need you to help create a strategy and set-up the entire SharePoint site for the program - end to end. This is going to be a clean slate you are walking into where you will have access to utilize the best technology from Microsoft. We are looking for someone who has worked on large multimillion dollar programs with hundreds of impacted users actively pinging the same document with all different access. We are also looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the idea of engaging with AI on the backend. This is a multiyear engagement with high visibility and is an opportunity to jump in right at the beginning and add immediate value!

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in SharePoint development, design, and solutioning of SharePoint sites, specifically looking for someone who has created strategy and been responsible for building sites from the ground up

- Proven experience developing customized SharePoint sites in different environments

- Experience supporting Multimillion dollar programs for enterprise organizations with hundreds of active users

- Experience using Power Platform tools to automate workflow

- Willingness to ramp up and engage with AI on the backend

- Experience providing guidance on strategy and driving initiative around SharePoint initiation and set-up

- Excellent communication skills and ability to have discussions at all levels across the organization

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience creating Metadata strategy for document retention
