Job Description
One of Insight Global's largest Agricultural Clients is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in ServiceNow to be responsible for all aspects of the ServiceNow Environment. This person will work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs, define requirements, identify solutions through existing functionality or customizations, as well as develop specifications and procedures for developing, programming, testing, installing, and maintaining new or modified modules and custom applications within the platform. This role assumes a high degree of knowledge on the ServiceNow platform including advanced formal training and certificationsand deep skills in various front-end web development languages.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent years of education, training and work experience)
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT Architecture and Engineering
- 2+ years experience with development, administration, configuration, and scripting on the ServiceNow platform (specific ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, VRM, Security Operations and HR Delivery products)
- 1+ years of experience working within an agile environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certifications: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certificate
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, VRM, Security Operations and HR Delivery ServiceNow products
- Proficient in front-end web development languages, including JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Ajax, XML and Glide
