Job Description
An employer is looking for a highly skilled Lead .Net Developer to join one of our largest national healthcare clients for a remote contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you will join a growing team of 12 individuals both onshore and offshore. You will be responsible for assigning tasks and doing code reviews along with doing hands on development. This is a contract-to-hire role, with the opportunity for you to convert to a manager if that's something you're interested in. This team also follows 2 week sprint Safe Agile methodology for development, therefore previous agile experience will help you be successful on this team. They code in .Net core / ASP .net on the backend and angular on the frontend. Any experience working with order management applications like SalesPad or NetSuite will help you be successful on this team as well.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Leading and motivating the team, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
-Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise, ensuring a balanced workload and efficient project process
-Providing technical expertise , assisting team members with challenges and promoting best coding practices and architecture design
-Reviewing code to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards and project guidelines
-Regularly tracking project progress and providing status updates to stakeholders and upper management
-Facilitating effective communication between team members and stakeholders ensuring everyone is informed about project developments and changes
-Participating in full life cycle development, including business analysis, systems documentation, coding, unit testing and quality control, deployment and support
-Assisting with the design, documentation and implementation of .Net enhancements in line with a continual improvement model
-Ensuring that best practices are followed during systems design, build and implementation
-Ensuring adherence to the Release and Change process
-Working closely with customers to ensure requirements cover requested enhancements
-Using process flows to determine best practice solutions
-Enthusiastic to learn new technologies required for project requirements
Required Skills & Experience
-Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
-8-10+ years of experience as Full Stack .NET developer (UI, APIs, Webservices, SQL, work experience on Window services, Console applications)
-At least 2 years of experience working as a Lead .Net Developer
-Interest in moving into a management role in the future
-Solid work experience on SSIS packages & Angular new versions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Work experience on CRM/Order Management applications like SalesPad, Netsuite etc.
